NHED, and other major Civil Society Organisations in Africa, namely; HERFON, CHESTRAD Global, Inward African Development Initiative and Alliance for Reproductive Health Rights presented an advocacy Statement on the 29th April 2019 at the Multi-Stakeholder Hearing on the UN High-Level Meeting on Universal Health Coverage which took place in Washington.
The Statement calls the attention of the stakeholders for the need to increase budgets and mobilize resources from all sources (Private Sector, Philanthropy, Social Impact Investments, and Traditional Oļ¬cial Development Assistance) to deliver essential health services to improve Health and well-being for everyone.
