As a show of our continuous humanitarian commitment, we visited one of the IDP camps (Kuchugoro2) in Abuja to share some food items to alleviate their suffering. Kuchugoro Camp 2 is one of the IDP Camps in Abuja hosting some of the displaced persons from Borno State. it has a population of about 1756 persons. These include several households, Widows and Orphans. The Camp has two facilities, a Clinic and a recreation Centre where the children and young adults play football and basketball.

Our call to the Camp was to encourage and share some food items with them. The IDPs were happy for NHED support and expressed their gratitude and determination to improve their living condition to be able to rise above their predicament. The Chairman of the camp, Mr Philemon and representatives of the IDPs expressed their gratitude. “We are very grateful because in the last two months we have not heard anything like food in this camp. Some of the people you are seeing here have not cooked in their houses in the last two to three days. Thank you. May God bless you” Philemon.
